Jacqueline Seroussi

Jacqueline Seroussi, born in August 1925, passed away in December 1999 as a result of a brain tumour (astrocytoma), which manifested itself only a few months before her departure.

A person of exceptionally rare human qualities, loving and self-sacrificing, Jacqueline Seroussi was unconditionally attached to contributing to the welfare and betterment of conditions for fellow humans. She was particularly committed to the cause of finding solutions to cure and prevent cancer. She lost two sisters at a younger age as a result of brain tumour and liver tumour.

It is in this spirit, and in her memory, that the Jacqueline Seroussi Memorial Foundation for Cancer Research was founded.
